The white spot Batocera, Batocera rubus ด้วงบ่าหนามหลังจุดขาว ตัวที่ยังสดอยู่อาจจะไม่ใช่จุดขาวสนิทแต่เป็นขาวอมเหลือง

Batocera rubus (Linnaeus, 1758) 
         Dull purplish black to black; pronotum with a pair of blood-red spots depression on both sides of the median line; scutellum whitish; elytron with three to seven (usually four large) white spots, the second spot from the base usually the largest and sometimes overlapping with another one or more spots, the forth one near the apex rather small and rounded.Length 21-50 mm. Distribution: Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Laos, Thailand (Wiang Pa Pao).
        ด้วงบ่าหนามหลังจุดขาว เป็นด้วงบ่าหนามที่อกมีจุดบุ่มสีแดงเลือด จุดที่อยู่บนปีกที่เรามักจะคุ้นเคยว่าเป็นจุดสีขาว แต่บางครั้งในตัวอย่างสดใหม่จุดอาจจะออกสีเหลืองครีมแทนที่จะมีสีขาว อย่างไรก็ตามลักษณะจะบนปีไม่เหมือนด้วงชนิดอื่น โดยปีกแต่ละข้างมี 4-7 จุด จุดที่ 2 จากฐานปีกมีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดและมักจะซ้อนกับจุดอีกหนึ่งหรือมากกว่าหนึ่งจุด จุดที่อยู่ใกล้ปลายปีกมักมีขนาดเล็กและค่อนข้างกลม พบทั่วไปในมาเลยเซีย อินโดนีเซีย ลาวและไทย
