The caterpillars feed mainly on leaves of Tabernaemontana divaricata (พุดจีบ), oleander Nerium oleander (ยี่โถ) and Cissus sicyoides (ม่านบาหลี). They also may feed on most plants of the Apocynaceae family, such as Adenium obesum (ชวนชม), Alstonia scholaris (พญาสัตบรรณ). The caterpillars are pale greenish-blue and color will change to be yellowish-brown before pupating.
ผีเสื้อจรวดเขียวยี่โถ หรือผีเสื้อจรวดเขียวพุด เป็นผีเสื้อจรวดขนาดกลางค่อนข้างใหญ่มีเขตแพร่กระจายในเอเชียและแอฟริกา ตัวหนอนกินใบพืชหลายชนิด ได้แก่พุด ยี่โถ ม่านบาหลี และอาจจะกินชวนชม พญาสัตบรรณด้วย ตัวหนอนมีสีเขียวอ่อนปนฟ้า และสีจะเปลี่ยนเป็นสีน้ำตาลปนเหลืองเมื่อใกล้เข้าดักแด้ ดักแด้ใช้เศษพืชคลุมตัวมักอยู่ตามพื้นดิน
